howdy everyone, i know this is a mustang forum but i have a 84 thunderbird with a full 5 lug conversion an some other neat gadgets. im deciding on changing my exhaust. i have my own lift and bender. it has longtube headman competition 1 5/8 headers, bbk x-pipe and hushpower mufflers, bought 18 inch long. all 2.5" pipe. tips turn down behind the back tires. it has a very very good tone to it. just not no where near loud as id like. was thinking about moving the xpipe closer to the headers (its about 3 feet from them now) and some flowmaster super 10s. any suggestions?

 

Flowmaster is the standard in tone for exhaust , all others fall by the waste side IF your looking for that absolute Growl in your exhaust Tone.

Ditch the Hush and go Flow man.

 

the hushpowers are flowmasters. it has the growl to it, just no where near loud enough
