I was on jegs a few hours ago and looked at their lm1s, will this be too loud or just good. I also looked at there borhla exhaust...I have to stick with catback so what should i go with.

well, ive been told that catbacks alone, slp is louder than borla stingers

and if you are stuck with just a catback, then slp will be louder, but in my opinion borla will sound more aggressive, but once again, this is all opinion

my site will be back up hopefully by wednesday hiss, and i can post you a couple links with my stingers but with an o/r H, so you will get the same sound, but not the levels

its what you want
slp = less refined, more raw sound perhaps
borla= sheer aggression and more defined tone -much more unique-

 

don't get SLP LM1s for a cobra. LM1s don't sound that great on a 4v motor. if you want SLP, get the LM2s. those would sound hawt.

 

From what I understand mach 1 you are saying the borla will sound deep, kind of like a harley? Nanaki what would the slp 2s sound like?

 

the LM2s are the best combination of deep and loudness you can get. the LM1s would be extremely loud and hollow on a 4v motor. they just don't sound right. i haven't heard LM2s on a 4v motor yet, but i imagine they sound hawt.

 

i dotn know how to describe it really, its not harly like, its a refined deep tone with LOTS of volume with an o/r pipe

i can run any gear out to about 3500 (or higher if i'd like) and let off and as everyone knows, your car slowly changes tones as its slowing

well, you get vibrations from the headliner to the dashboard and even a bit through your seats) and despite what people say about Stingers not being raw enough, there is plenty of popping and roaring coming out of it as your slowing

its preference, i think someone needs to OFFICIALLY get the following setups at ONE pleace and ONE time

SLP 1
SLP 2
Borla Stingers
Bassanni
Magnapack
and some sort of Flowmaster

have them all with the EXACT same motor, exact same midpipe and see what happens,

 

I am getting the SLP LM2 I ordered from Mustang Tuning onThursday. I already have a SLP catted-X and I can’t wait to hear them together.

 

youll be VERY happy with your setup, I love SLP over anything else...but then again Im slightly biased

 

I have SLP LM I's on my GT they sound great idk what this guys talkin about =) Get THEM!

 

your on a 2v motor though..
