Default NOS switch

my NOS super power shot came in today and while i as looking through it i noticed that the only switch that came with it was a rocker switch(which arms it?) and i thought that when you want the shot to activate you would press a button (like something you would mount to your steering wheel), while i was looking through the directions i noticed something called the microswitch. is that so you cant do the shot un less that is activated? or does that do a shot when the throttle hits it? im sorry if these questions are stupid but i just wanted to know if i needed to get a button or any thing else, so i dont have to be running around when im installing the kit.

it should have s small square looking switch with a piece of metal about 3/4" long down one side and some brakets to use as a wide open throttle switch but you can buy shifter handles with switches built in to them. to get that cool little button.

yeah you have to set it on your throttle cable so when its open all the way it his that switch, but when it hits that is it going to to the shot every time i go wot? is there a way i could set it so i can press a button then it go off, because i dont want to acicdently go wot and it go off when i dont want it to. is the wot switch better than having a button? if i was to go with the button how would i go about wiring that?

You put the mircoswitch on the throttle bodie so it activates at WOT. Then u put the rocker switch in the car and when that switch is on the System is armed. It will work at WOT. But when the rocker switch is off it wont spray so you can go WOT without using your nitrous

easy just run a push button in line with the wot (thats the safest way) when you want to use the nitrous hit the button. B&M and Hurst both make shift ***** with buttons.

the microswitch is the activation switch.

the toggle switch is the arming switch

thats fine to have it armed, if your not wot, it won't spray. and you do go wot, as soon as you lift a little bit it will stop unless you are wot.

you don't want any fast and furious crap where you press abutton to spray, unless you want to break stuff and get laughed at.

so every time you shift, just lift a little if your worried about shifing on the spray.

otherwise go for it.......i powershift on the juice.....i hit the limiter once and it didn't even backfire, but i would't do that too much

i have an other question, but doesnt have any thing to do with the switch. i just got 2 5/8 gauge for inside my car and all it came with was the gauge and a fitting with two male ends on it. that fitting goes to the braided line to the bottle ? right? also i cant find the fitting that goes from the gauge to the braided line. which s female on one end and male on the other. where can i find this, ive looked around and cant seem to find it any where. all i can find is the braided line but not the fitting

if your gauge has a male end you just put the line on it. and then you will need a T fitting to tap the line to hook your gauge in.
