Default KOOKS Headers

I was just wondering, I seen someone online selling a USED pair of KOOKS LT headers for 750 bucks. Why are these headers so much? What is so special about them that makes people pay 1000 (im guessing) for them? They must sounds pretty crazy.

Kooks is high priced its just one of those things you can buy a CAI for any where form $50 for a cheap ebay or pay a small forturn for a roush racing. is one better yes. but for the most part i think that a medium price is gonna do the job for the street.

Well, I'm looking for a new exhaust system but Im not sure what to do. But my car, is not going to be built for the street but I dont want to spend 1000 on headers either. Thats nuts.

If it's a street car that you're just going to keep for a few years, just buy why sounds good to you.

yeah but wouldn't headers the same size get the same hp? i mean what are they like
1-5/8? i would just buy headers that are ceramic coated and that will keep the heat away and last awhile. im looking into the SLP's but they too are a fortune I think in the $800 area but they are suppose to work with auto's.
