probably anywhere from 3-4 hours. theyll charge at least an hour for the midpipe and at least two for the headers. thats just book time. if you know someone it shouldnt take that long, or if they want to rip you off, theyll be at it all day. your best bet if you dont know anyone is take it to a shop and ask the book time. once they give it to you they cant charge you any more than that.

2 hours for the headers? I dont think so. They are gonna be a total PITA. You need to give extra time for those.

I got X-pipe/headers instaleld for $450, but it took them FOREVER. They kept struggling with them, something about the steering column and what not. They had to really fug with stuff to fit 'em in there, but they got it eventually. It took longer than they expected but they didn't charge any extra.

Then again, these are the same guys that damanged the cover/whatever on my clutch cables (which they fixed right away) and then failed to close my hood properly...a problem I did not discover till I hit 40mph...

Wrong. Installing the midpipe is a breeze, but installing the LTs will take at least 3-4 hours for an experienced team of mechanics.

i got qouted for $400 for LT's but the mid pipe just connects and that should take any more than 20 minutes to do if they already have your old exhuast off. i mean they are doing it all together right?

just got off the phone with a custom exhaust shop. They said it will be ABOUT $400. Give or take, depending on how long it takes. They said the mustang is one of the hardest jobs to do it on. And he said while hes doing it he can throw on the midpipe. My friend knows the guy so he might be able to get it cheaper. Once its over ill be glad its all done. Is this setup gonna be loud at idle too.. cause when i come home late at night i dont wanna wake anyone up [&:]
