So I guess now i want to get a turbo, can can you guys walk through what all you need for it. I know basics... turbo and intercooler but what eles. Thanks alot.

just buy a complete kit made for your car and you'll have everything you need. most people go with a supercharger because it's easier to install. oh, and lets not forget, the roots/twin screw give you that happy grin right off the line.
Without rebuilding your engine, you're just wasting money on the turbo. The turbo only shines when you get to insane power levels (like 700+) becauce they always seem to have a little more in them. In any other case, a kenne bell is the way to go if you have the cash. If money is a bit tighter, get a Vortech supercharger as it's a great deal for the money and is capable of getting your car over the 400 rwhp mark with some supporting mods.
meh. i'm not a fan of the KB superchargers really. they sound hot, give insane power, but traction... i want to be able to take off out of the hole. i'm pro centrifugal now. if i had to do it over again and i had the money for KB, i'd go for aftercooled vortech.
so you guys are saying unless i want to rebuid my engine i should just go witha supercharger. How much difference in power is there really. I know everyone says turbos are better, but how much hp are we talking. And if i go with a supercharger, then vortex is the way to go? thanks for all the help guys.
Man you just need to do some reading and researching, yes turbos make more power, yes vortech is one of the best centrifigural blowers on the market. And nobody said anything about haveing to rebuild your motor
He was talking about rebuilding your engine, and if you plan on strapping on a turbo and runnign 450+ HP, you are going to need some cooling upgrades and consider the bottom end. 500 hp is what the stock block and crank are rated to, so when you get near that line other things are going to start to break, like rods, pushrods, lifters, rockers. You will need more than a turbo, otherwise you will run into problems later.

ok so tell me how many people with little to no knowledge about turbos go dump 15 grand into a twin turbo system and a new bottom end. tell me that. I was mainly getting at the lack of knowlegde he has and what he can gain by reading through the forums and elsewhere. Besides that info is bull sh*t anyways because a turbo will outshine a supercharger at the same psi any given day with maybe exhaust any day, all day long.
