you want new or used?

new go w/ the zex or NOS, about $500

used go to any of the mustang forums w/ for sale ads.

http://www.corral.net
http://www.stangnet.com
http://www.californiafords.com

$250-$300 is average price for a clean used kit, w/ not much extras...maybe a heater or purge.

just get a kit from nitrousdirect.com . i actually went to that site and they have some CHEAP kits. any kit will work great if hooked up properly.

ok next question.. wet or dry kit? which would you guys reccomend and why?

uh oh.......this one can start an argument but,

generally if your spray about 100, i would go dry.

if 200+ then wet...and a direct port, or plate kit that goes UNDER the upper intake.

reason is, that a wet kit sprays fuel into the upper , and the upper is noa relly smooth cast, nor is it designed to flow fuel.

so you get puddling and if it backfires...you can pop your hood off.

personally i wouldn't spray a dry kit beyond 125-150....100 shot is perfect for most people.

and about the used kits....selonoids can go bad, but usually don't (they can be rebuilt for about $30, replacd for about $65)
everything else is basic....i'm comfortable buying a used kit, try to find one that is pretty new and looks clean.

if it's all beat up..it might be older , and been through a few hands.

a really clean bottle will be pretty good evidence, it was hardly used, and probably not heated w/ a torch

but always use a line filter....especially w/ a used bottle

dry is easier to install (from what i've heard. never done it myself). code3gt ran that 125 dry shot (with 150 here and there) basically untuned with no problems. i wouldn't go higher than 125 with dry. i actually wouldn't go higher than 125 with either type of kit personally. just get whatever kit is cheapest and get a flip chip with a nitrous tune. SCT makes a neat little 4 (i think it's 4) bank chip.
