Default LT help

Are the falanges on the lt's the same as stock where they meet the mid pipe? Is is possible to just have the midpipe shortened and installed that way?

it's been a while since i saw a stock h-pipe, but get rid of the bung holes for the o2 sensors when you cut it.
i can't remember how close to the flanges they are...that or plug them.

I have a upr o/r x-pipe on it already...so technically i could take it to any qualified exhaust shop and tell them to cut off the x-pipe flanges and either weld the right ones back on or just put the same ones back on with a little space cut out of them. Am i right in assuming that shops carry different flanges in stock and that they can do this?
