whats the difference b/t a blower and super charger? which one is cheaper? which one gives more horse power on average? (sorry nu driver with stock 5.0)

blower is slang for supercharger but if you want to get technical, blower refers specifically to the roots style superchargers.

well if u wanna get real technical...in my careerfield ( i work on Cummins engines) they call and engine either supercharged or naturally aspirated. And turbo, cengrifugal superchargers, and all other kinds of blowers and forced induction and under the category of "supercharged"....but thats for diesel engines i dunno if thats the same for gas
