would it be worth it to just switch out the old mid-pipe with the 6 cat on it for an off road X-pipe with no cats? I just want to make the car a little deeper and louder. I liked the way it sounded on a 98 gt but he had the H-pipe. let me know because I think I might look for some one who has a used one for sale. I want to do the whole exhaust later but right now the car is my daily driver so I dont want to put to much into it.

 

For the money, an aftermarket midpipe it a great mod especially since you can get one new for about 160 bucks. It will give you a little bit of performance, and change your exhaust sound.
