MAC cat-back
I think I asked this question somewhere else in the forums but can't seem to remember where. Anyway, I was looking at buying a MAC cat-back to mate up to my UPR o/r x-pipe and was curious as to how they sound. Would I get that signature throaty 4.6 exhaust note? Also, are they pretty loud? Because I like loud. Loud enough for others to hear me with their windows up? I am just trying to find the biggest bang for my buck on the exhaust and MAC appears to be the least inexpensive. Thanx all.

02 GT btw.
My fiance probably won't like the loudness either but she can just stay in her explorer. I just never get tired of hearing that sound, no matter how loud it is. do you know of any place else to get it for less than 382 bucks?
By the way, has anyone had any problems with their modular design? It looks like all that holds it together after the flanges to the x-pipe are band clamps (this one time at band clamp!!!). I'd think that under stress the clamps would loosen and you'd lose a tip or something. correct me if I'm wrong.
Just search the web for pricing. The band clamps make it nice if you ever have to remove it. It doesn't "pinch" the pipes like conventional clamps do. It's also one of the nicest well made systems I've ever installed. Thinking about puting one on my fox.
I had the MAC on my '99 GT. Everyone I knew absolutely loved the way that car sounded. I thought it was one of the best sounding Mustangs I had ever heard. The fit was kind of ****ty, you really have to play with it to get it to fit right. But as far as sound...You just can't beat the MAC.
