I get that you want to get as much for your parts as you can. I also get that you don't want to throw out a price for fear of that ONE guy who "might" have been willing to pay more than your asking price.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the last time I actually saw that happen.

God knows I've never been the higher number on my first offer.

If you put a fair price on the parts up front, you can avoid a lot of hurt feelings when you get lowballed.

Seriously, you didn't even have the courtesy of a counter offer when someone made you an actual offer.

A reply like, "I don't think so" should get the post locked.

This isn't eBay. If you want bids, you should post it there.

I don't get why all ads don't require a price.
