Default Shifter ***** for sale

These ***** are threaded 12x1.75 and will NOT fit a stock S197 shifter. They DO fit any Steeda Tri-ax handle and possibly some other aftermarket shifters.

This one is from Haney Motor Sports, and I believe is no longer available.
It is a black 2.25" diameter **** with a pony emblem underneath the surface and an engraved 5-speed pattern.

I'm asking $20 shipped for this ****.

This one is a white 2.25" diameter Hurst **** with an engraved 5-speed pattern. You can see the part number on the packaging. I ordered it from Jegs a while back, but never used it because I have small hands, and 2.25" felt too big to me. It is NOT the same **** that comes with a Hurst shifter, and it will NOT fit a Hurst shifter for the S197. Also notice that it does not say Hurst on the side.

I'm asking $20 shipped for this ****.

This shifter is the Steeda billet cylindrical shift ****. It has three rubber o-rings for grip and a plain top. It has a satin finish. This is a nice shifter ****. It has the indention on the bottom for the leather dust boot to fit into.

I'm asking $30 shipped for this ****.

PM me or reply to this post if you're interested in buying any of these...or all of them hehehe!

Hmmmm...maybe this was a change made in 2007 models. I can't remember, but I think the tri-ax handles used to be threaded 12x1.25 like the stock, but then they switched to 12x1.75.

The only reason the stock one fits is because it is plastic on the inside. You basically re-threaded it when you put it on. (ever notice how its hard to get on that first time and feels like you turn it forever)

Damn! I really wanted a black shiftknob...guess I saw this too late
