Matt, personally, i dont think that the GT handling is that good, theres alot of body roll, and i heard that the sway bars are hollow, i am going to put the Eibach Anti-body roll kit, i already put in the pro-kit.

Handling is ok stock, I don't think quite as good as your AWD WRS. But it trully is improved drasticly with aftermarket upgrades (tires, wheels, springs, struts, and front & rear sway bars) The difference is big enough to consider the improved GT a completly different car..
The handling of a stock GT mustang seems very nice if this is your first sports car, or if you have not driven an AWD sports car or sedan (ours was AWD AWS Dodge Stealth Twin turbo) IMHO a stock GT will not take the twin turbo stealth in the tight twisties. I'm sure I'll get flamed but before anyone flames me read on. With after maket upgrades on our GT it will run and hide from our Stealth in the twisties. but in stock trim they are very close but the stealth does feel more sercure because of the AWD. 05SDI

ok thanks. i dont have a subie yet and was lookin into other options and thinking an 05 gt is next in line if i cant get a subie. besides with the lower payments i can have fun upgrading. i would probably get the eibachs before i even got the car considering they are only about $300. springs dont seem too hard to install. could an amature do it with a little help or would that need to be done profesionally and how much would that cost around? thanks.

Here's a quick read
My Strut and spring install

Springs alone will not do much more then change your cars ride height. Get the struts too. These Tokico are fully adjustable in ride firm ness. 05SDI
