Yeah... $800 isn't an easy pill to swallow after spending $600 on the wheels. It'll be worth it though. What size in the KDW2 did you decide on?

245/45/18, but that is because I did not want to spend $ for wider rims, otherwise I would have gone bigger in the back. Unfortunately I can not get the matching Ultra Wheels in a bigger width.

I ran those on my 06"GT and they cut corners really sweet.

OK, just found them at a local place called Discount Tire. They are supposedly a national chain and their website is www.discountire.com. They have a location just down the street from me. They offer the "KDW2" although they call it the "KDW NT" which I am presuming stands for "New Tread".

After looking at their website, they have a picture of their "KDW NT" and it looks a *little* different than the pics at TireRack.com. My question... are they the same tire? I can buy local and save the shipping cost and they will mount/balance for free, so it might be worth it. I just want to make sure I am getting the same tire. The pics at TireRack look more attractive than the pics at DiscountTire... see below and let me know your thoughts.

I don't know if you guys have any Mavis Discount Tire stores near you but they will beat any online price and they are authorized BFG warranty dealers. That's where BFG sent me when I thought there was a warranty issue with my KDW2's
