Default Front end shimmy

I have an 05 had it since jan 05 and every once and a while i get a shimmy in the front end. It feels like one of the tires up front is out of balance but it doesn't go away if you vary your speed like an out of balance tire. Very frustrating. Anybody else having this issue??????
Thanks for any help

If you have the stock tires it may be flat spots . Mine will do this if it sits several days but seems to clear up after a few miles

Pull the front wheels, and make sure the factory didn't leave a "keeper clip" on one of the wheel studs.....(guessing after market rims...)

My car does this too. I have an '06 convertible with the 18" polished fanblade OE wheels and the shimmy occurs only from 70 to 80 mph and sometimes it is really bad. I have had my alignment and wheel balance checked and it still does it. I also took off the retainer clips and it still does it. I have noticed that reducing tire inflation pressure seems to help a little. My tires were at 36 psi and dropping them to 32 helped a little. I am thinking that perhaps my front rotors are warped a bitand that is causing the shimmy but I haven't looked into that yet.
