Does anyone have the kdw's with the new tread design? I heard they were really loud and was wondering what people have to say.

there was a thread not 3 days ago about these tires....do a search for it and you will find many answers, most say very little noise was added especailly with an aftermarket exhaust. Traction seems to be superior to many others.

The noise is just the sound of the pavement screaming, not the tires.

 

Mine are only as loud as the pavement under them, when its rough then its loud, when its smooth they are quiet. I guess they have the potential to be loud if you never rotate them. Great tire overall, awesome grip and awesome look.

 

Are they better than KD's.....I have 275/40/18 and I can't stop spinning[:@]. I'm just N/A......I need some help

 

I put them on (kdw nt's) last year. A little louder a highway speed (nothing offensive), but a huge improvement in traction over the pirelli's in both wet and dry conditions, they corner great too.......
