Yo Sweger, I've hear great things about the INVOs. They grip like crazy and have good wet weather characteristics. The only downside (and why I ended up with NT555s) is the tread life on the INVO is supposedly not very good...and not very good is being generous from what I'm told. I'm reading about Mustangs running through a set in 10K-13K miles.

yeah ive heard great things about the tires too. havent heard about the short tread life though, although it stands to reason with the treadwear rating at 260. the reviews ive read on discount tire's website have a lot of miles (to me, over 20k for a summer tire is good enough). wonder if anyone on the forum has used them.

i like the idea of them b/c they are the only tire under 250 that isnt total garbage in the size i want. 275/35/18

PM sent and I am getting them and saddle up has them on her car and they are great....low noise, great wet and dry traction, and if they last 15,000 miles I would be happy!!!!

My Z06 brethren like the Invos because they come in the right sizes (including a 345 rear) and grip very well in a straight line. The downside is that the sidewalls are very soft, and this seems to mean handling on the track (road course) is sloppy. Interest is shifting in the Corvette community to the Nitto NT-05.

the nt05 looks very promising. another benefit to this tire for people like corvette owners with a staggered setup is it isnt a directional tire so they can still be rotated. not a big advantage to me as i am running the same size on all 4 corners, but good if i decide to go down this road later.
