Default g-Force T/A or 555r's?

Most likely going to do rims and tires with the BFG or the Nittos. Anybody recommend anything else or have any pros/cons on either tire?

As for tire size I'm not sure yet, my wheels will be 18X9 in front and 18X10 in back.

Front- 245-255/??/18
Back- 275-295/??/18

What do you want from your tires?? Street driving? Or dragging it at the track?

If you can afford them get the 555's, i just put them on my razors and i also had them on my rims on my last mustang. Both tires are good but i lean more towards the 555's.

My car is my DD but I do frequently drag race it at the track. I hardly ever race on the street (got huge ticket). Another option is to just keep my stock wheels and throw on some 555r's and just switch the rear wheels every time I go to the track...... But it would look retarded with the front two wheels chrome and the back blacks. LOL..

Hmm...

I have seen 295 and 305's on the rear with no modding of the rear! I have seen 315's but the rear was changed to accomodate the width without sticking out past the wheel well!

Have you considered mickey thompsons? Good track tire, but not too much tread life (very soft compound)...I'm tossing my nittos for some, just ordered them today.

Personally, for my Mustang, I went with Goodyear's Eagle F1 GS-D3 VBS, 255/45/18. The 255/45/18isthe largest size thatwill properly fit the thestock 18 X 8.5's and they work well with my suspension mods. I am set up for club racing (see sig), not for drag racing

I ran several sets of Nitto 555's,245/35/19's on my BMW and never liked them. I had a lot of trouble getting them balanced.

Good Luck!
