Rear Sway Bar Lock Nut Problem
Hi, i recently purchased Steeda Front and Rear Sway Bars for my 2006 Stang Gt. In an attempt to put both of them on, i was able to put the front sways easily. However the removal of the rear stock sway bar seemed impossible. There were 2 locked nuts that wouldnt even budge. Any suggestions?

Hi blublood,
I can't post an image out of the manualof the rear anti-roll bar for reference butwhich fasteners are you talking about? The two bolts that attach the anti-roll bar links to the chassis or the two per side nuts that hold the A-R bar bushings to the axle? If you are talking about the axle side you have to turn the bracket nuts on the under side of the brackets as you cannot turn the fixed clip studs on the top.If you are talking about the link bolts on the A-R bar links you have to turn the linkbolts on the outside of the mounts, you cannotturn the fixed clip nuts on the inside of the car.

oh they are the two bolts that attach the anti-roll bar links to the chassis.

You have to turn the link bolt to get these out, the clip nutsare designed to not turn so only the bolt need to be held during installation.
