Default Helpme spend $2000 on suspension and handling upgrades

Here's what I've got-

05 GT. Steeda UDP
K&N CAI
Pypes off road x and mid muffler cat back
Steeda CMCV
ASA MU1 20's (offset front 9and rear 10)
Motive 4.10s
Steeda Tri Ax Short Shifter

I'vegot about $2000.00 to throw around. I'd like to keep some of it handy for a supercharger, but what is the best direction to go with suspension/handling? I'm a total novice- so all the help I can get would be great.

Thanks in advance for the help. This forum is great!

+1
You just need to know what you want to do with the car as you may need to tweak that list or get certain variances of those parts.

Street, strip, corner carver?

the car is primarily a street car- its my daily driver. I'm just looking for comfort in the ride and something that will handle well, especially as I add more horsepower and mods.

Could anyone by any chance explain exactly what all those parts do and maybe suggest a few brands?

here is a quick explation
lowering springs-lower the center of gravity therefore improveing handling
Front & Rear Strut/Shock - do stuff...
Adjustable lower control arms - reduce wheel hop
LCA relocation brackets- reduce wheel hop a addition to the LCA^^^
If you really wanted to you could just do one or the other.
Camber Plates- change tire alignment to improve handling
Adjustable panhard bar- readjust geometery after you lower the car
Panhard bar brace- helps support panhard bar
compared to the stock panhard bar and brace aftermarket ones are much stiffer and can take more abuse.
Steeda is a good brand of parts to look at. Go to there website. With all of this your ride quality will suffer some. But if you take your time and research you can choose parts that won't make as big of difference. Don't rush and there are articles on the net that explain all these parts.

Honestly. Wheels and tires are probably the best handling mod you can do. Then springs, shocks/struts, and swaybars.

With your budget that looks proper.

If you really want to read up on all this stuff check out the following thread:https://mustangforums.com/m_934501/mpage_12/key_/tm.htm It contains some fantastic info on what each piece does and recommended brands. Steeda is mentioned frequently.

If you desire compliant ride but stiff when the turns demand it, go with progressive springs, Eibach pro kit seems to be popular.
D-specs struts/shocks control the rebound of the spring so you don't continue bouncing along after a bump.
Adj panhard bar can be used to reset your center as lowering springs can kick the rear end to the side. If by chance you need to correct your pinion angle after the suspension drop going with adj LCA can do this as well as reduce wheel hop. The LCA brackets ensure that once the car is lowered the mounting point of the LCA is still lower than its mounting point on the frame.

Hope this helps

Ditto that plus you get a warranty from Ford!

With the FRPP Handling Pack, the springs struts shocks and sway bars are engineered as a package not a bunch of mis-match parts, something I highly recomend is not mis-matching parts especially suspension parts.
