Default Installed CHE Adj UCA/LCA's today. E-brake locked?

So we jacked the car up, and got the UCA's and LCA's in. When I go to reattached the emergency brake cable on the driverside it is short (meaning compressed like someone pulled the brake, which they did NOT) and I cannot get it back in. Well with some convincing I got it in, but now brake is engaged on thedriverside (passenger was perfect). Did I mention I had to rush home for a dinner w/Friends? So I drive the car home (rotor is now blue and HOT)....I'm thinking I'll just adjust the cable using the bolt inside the arm rest to fix. But before I do so ask some of you did you have this problem when you did your lowers? Any ideas on the fix other than adjusting the parking break? Do you think the rotor is shot? (About 4 miles)

Thanks for you input
