Default Steering Wheel Vibrating

Just installed new rims and tires. My steering wheel vibrates at around 35mph, but the vibration decreases around 50mph. The steering wheel is aligned perfectly and my new tires are 255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 back.

The tires were shipped on the rims already balanced.
Is this just tires needing to be balanced, or could I have a worped rim? Pretty sure the wheel giving trouble is right front.

Did you remove the small clips that are on a stud holding the rotor in place?
Each rotor has one. These will cause the rim not to sit flush against the hub on some aftermarket wheels.
Also they could be off in balance, it happens.
These clips are not needed, only during assembly.

I know exactly what clips you are talking about. Just painted around them.[8D]

But thanks, I double checked and I have plenty of clearance.

What wheels are those? They look awesome on your car especially with the painted calipers!

I have to drive the car to work tomorrow and will call around for someone to hopefully do a quick balance on my lunchhour.

Thanks!
I searched for months looking for the size and offset (and price) with a chrome lip. [8D] They are AZA R9's (35mm offset) on Toyo tires, 18x8.5 rim 255/45/18 front and 18x9.5 285/40/18 back.

Are you saying your wheels have recesses around the lug holes on the back of the rim?? I've never seen that on an aftermarket wheel.

My CT-R's are all recessed, but I still remove the tabs to be safe.

To bad your not close MG, I'd tell ya to swing on by for a balance job
