Default New KDW2 Installed

I just had my new 285/40/18 KDW2s installed on the Steeda 18 x 9.5 Ultra light rims. One of the things I was concerned about is seem to find themnoisy but in the 20 mile drive home at everything from stop and go rush hour to 70 MPH including some grooved pavement the noise difference seems insignificant.

I realize that 20 miles is a short test but unless they get a whole lot noiser over time they are fine.

With the 45 MM offset the rears just sit niclely inside the fenders. I'll post some pics after we do the rest of the installs next weekend.

Just sold a set to a guy with a turbo passat today, lol. He wanted the tires with the flame design, hehe. Sad thing is I knew the exact tire he was talking about.

Thos bad dogs going on the front in the same size?

Stoenr

Yep - same size front and rear!

I agree - the tread pattern is wild.

You gotta be rubbing when you turn that wheel lock to lock?

So far no indications of any rubbing.

It will hopefully be the same after we put in the Steeda Competition springs next weekend and then track the car on May 19.
