That's your sway bar endlink. Looks like the attachment to the vehicle broke.

You're going to need a new strut... It sure looks to me like it ripped the endlink mount off the strut itself. And if one side did it, the other isn't likely far behind.

ah ha now its making sense. past few weeks ive had a slight vibration in the steering wheel and it go worse at higher speeds. I also noticed the right side has a god awful clunk. that must be the right side getting to come off eh???

right now its all stock. ive got the dspecs waiting to go in so im good there. Will i need to replace the endlinks at all or even need a swaybar??

I reused my stock endlnks when putting in my D Specs and a new front bar. Provided yours is not damaged you should be able to use the endlink again.

It is somewhat scary to think that the stock parts fail like this. Do you corner really hard?

Hi sweetlou69,

Sam pegged it. What is all that wet looking stuff all over the inside of the wheels, cotrol arm and fender liner? If you didn't just wash your car you may also have a brake fluid leak. Stop driving the car and have it checked right away asyoumay havedamaged the brake line and as you can imagine this could be dangerous to say the least.

HTH!
