I was told the Eibach Pro Kit will sag in a few months and I will end up a lot lower than wanted or needed. Anyone have any experience or suggestions about this?

Would you consider selling the springs if you can't find a trade?

Sportlinesdropthe car too low and removetoo muchsuspension travelso your handling will suffer as a result.

I have first hand experience going too low with my '85 GT and regretted it for years. The spring rate is very high to compensate for lack of travel and rear-end will get loose too easily on hard cornering as it doesn't absorb road variations. It will also more likely get loose b/c itcan bottom out more easily and send the rear of car into a slide.

I agree the car looks great slammed, butnot worth the trade-offfor me.

EDIT: what is up with the quotation and appostrophes? Maybe if I leave a space for one but don t put one, it will only make one [&:]

that paragraph describes what happens to me everyday is there a way to fix it?
Or am I just taking the corners to fast, and drifting?

^ You could be doing both [&:]

If your car is too low, two things will happen at some point (often if you drive on less than stellar roads) The suspension travel has been overly reduced and the rear axle and front suspension hits the rubber bump stops at the end of their travel. When this happens, the bump you just hit will then 'rebound' your car upward and lose downforce in a corner. This in turn gets the car 'light' and you will slide. If the car does NOT hit the bump stops, but the springs/suspension is too tight, the same thing will happen, butto a lesser degree. On top of all this, it rides like crap and your g/f's (.)(.)'s bounce around and she will get stretch marks

Stay away from droping your car over 1.5' (at leas for SN95 and New Edge. Not certain for S197's, but probably the same) and don't go aggressive dampers and springs. Saleen and Roush seem to have it right, so go for a ride in one if you get the chance. Otherwise, heads up to F1Fan, Sam, Steelcomp, Rodeoflyerand several others that frequent this forum and do some research. Decide what kind of driving you like and what your budget is.

And as our freind Flava-Flav says..... 'Don't believe the hype!'
