Default Panhard mystery...

Today was Panhard and brace day. Both BMR, adj panhard with poli brushings. Install went great.(Getting it ready to Tokco it up and maybe drop it)

Here's the weird part, as i remove the stock panhard i noticed that it was full of what seemed like sand or beads. It wasnt even compact inside. When shaken it felt like i was playing the maracas.

Any idea what it might be? I'm really tempted to cut it and find out what it is but i'd like to keep it around just in case for a while. anyone else?

It's not really a problem. It's replaced that's that.

I'm just curious. I find it unusual how the OEM panhard whould be filled with anything. I just inspected it for any openings there are none.

I might be tempted to take a saw to it and just find out.

Just wanted to know if anone else experienced this.

Yeah, it's filled with some sort of bead, noticed when I removed mine. I'd guess sound deadening material.

Same with mine when I took it out. I've heard that it (sand, beads, whatever it is) was supposed to help with noise in the chassis. No biggie as far as I can tell.

Best,

No you will not have any issues with noise with our panhardrod. Just make sure that you keep the bushings greased.
