Is it a bad idea to put just aftermarket struts on the front and not the back? Any concerns? Mainly for the reason of money. Buy 2 for the front now and on down the road pick up 2 more.

i'm not a guru but i can tell you right now most everyone will say don't do it.

just save your money and do it right.

i'm not sure where you could buy just two anyway.

having said that, i can't imagine there are any actual safety concerns involved.

but it really doesn't make much sense.

well i am lowering the car with steeda sports so i want to do it to help out with the ride quality. I think just doing the fronts would be fine. Also, i can pick up 2 struts for the frontfrom a local guy for a great price.

you'll get faster responses and some very experienced opinions if you post on the handling performance section.

also, they'll want to know what brand of dampers you are gonna buy.

he said he's getting them locally.honestly i think you would be fine doing it that way saftey-wise, but the right way to do it would be to get 4 at once. wait for F1Fan to chime in.
