Sunrise in the Ohio Country Side
Visited Nelson Ledges road course in Northeast Ohio today. Thought you guys might appreciate this picture of sunrise and the Mustang waiting for the gate to open.

Sadly this track is a dying breed. Cheap ($120 for a full day) and laid back. Just an open track out in the country. Nothing like the rules and formality you see at a SCCA or NASA event. We were required to do point bys but other than that it was pretty open. Track is 2 miles, ~13 turns and pretty high speed, only 4 braking zones, lots of long sweepers. Only drawback is its a little bumpy. Once again the car did great. I ran on R-Comps for the first time (nitto NT01) - sweet! Unfortunately rumor has it that the track has been bought and this may be the last summer of open days like this.
Picture of me giving my 21 year old nephew an introduction to the sport, needless to say he was pretty excited about it.
