Default Better budget control arms???

Hello all, Its time for Upper and Lower control arms. I was looking at edelbrock I can get locally but no I am looking at the CHE brand upper and lower combo for like 300 shipped (canadian) vrs UMI or BRR. the major difference between the two is the CHE clams a Durilen material that does not require grease. where i come from grease is good wich makes me lean to the BMR greaseable. It would be on a daily driver that gets a weekly drag run on full bolt on N/A so not huge power.
Questions: Whats up with Durilen any have it? Is it actually good?
Quality of parts on vrs other?
experiences positive/negative?
And oh yeah Ive heard a Lower/ Relocation bracket combo is more effective then upper / lower combo any input???

I run the Edlebrock UCa and PHB and I hafta say I am very satisified with the quality of the parts. Nice construction, good materials and they even go as far s setting the lengths to stock for you on the adjustable parts.

GT500 lower controls arms. I just pulled my J&M ones out because of clunking. Couldn't figure out why they were clunking. I took the bushings out & they looked fine, and everything was lubricated. I bought the GT500 set to help with classing in auto-x anyway, but when I put them in the clunking disappeared.

if you can get some GT500 take-offs for cheap, go for em. the UMI ones you can get from stranoparts.com, i think, are a bit cheaper than the BMR or other higher end arms.

If you do a little research you can find plenty of information on the UMI products. The often do cost a little less than others, but that's helped by the fact UMI isn't in a metro area and costs are less here in the part of PA we're both in.

There is difference between a lower price and "cheap". And most parts are greasable.
