Unhappy need some help. new wheels and tires installed

now i am getting a sqweaking noise from the rear end, it appears to be coming from the brakes as it gets louder when i put the brakes on. all I did at installation was paint the calipers (did not take them off, painted with a brush) and installed the new wheels. i had stock 17" wheels and I installed 18x9 GT4's all around. I did use my existing lug nuts but that did not seam to be a problem. please help as I have spent alot on these and of course now that they are mounted i cant send them back (or so i would assume). Anyway every thing seams to fit fine. the wheels are not touching the brakes or the calipers.

did you remove the clips from the factory that holds the rotor to the hub? make sure wheels are torqued to 98 ft lbs

did not remove anything at installation, the only thing I did other than switch wheels was clean and paint the calipers., like said tho i did not remove the calipers, just had the torque checked at lunch, 98 ft lbs.

there are clips on the rotors, 2 per wheel that should be removed when you use after market wheels

I'm glad that fixed it! The clips are there only to hold rotor on during assembly. With aftermarket wheels the rim will not not sit flush against the rotor.

Some aftermarket wheels, like mine, have a recess machined into the back face of the rim to accomodate the clips and thus they are not a problem.
