Default Ford Racing Springs

Right now my suspension is all stock, if I upgrade to ford racing lowering springs, how much faster will my stock shocks wear out?

be sure you know what ford racing springs you are getting. One set doesnt drop the car as much, they are the ones that are on the foose stallion and the other set is the same as the eibach pro kit. it sill somewhat depend on which springs you buy but they will wear out faster and all depends on who you talk. Some people will tell you not to do it others have had them with stock struts without issues. They will wear out faster but lots of variables come into play.

stay away from blue oval industries

How about the Eiback Sportline springs, they drop it 1.6 in the front and 2.0 inches in the rear. Anyone using those?

the sportlines offer one of the most aggressive drops and i would not run them without upgrading the shocks. on top of that you will need various other suspension parts such as an adjustable panhard bar, etc. There are several others running the sportlines with good results but be prepared to spend around $1000 for the springs, struts, and supporting mods.

^What he said.

Also, Blue Oval springs are the ones to stay away from, only a 1/2 inch drop, lol.
You'll be pissing your money away.

So I shouldn't just install the springs by themselves?
