Default FRPP Handling Pak Ordered

Pretty excited, CJ Pony will have it in on the 5th, then I schedule for the install and 4 wheel alignment, also maybe just maybe might go 4.10's while it's down there and on the lift ;p

We'll see.........Picks will be taken when it's all done, Did quite a bit this Fall/Winter.

Cragar's came in September, GT 500 Rear Spoiler in November, Mirror Covers in December, Sequential Tails, and CDC Classic Chin in January, ADJ UCA's and ADJ Panhard in February, and FRPP handling pak with possible 4.10's in March.......then I'm done for the Spring/Summer.

you will be impressed with that frpp pack, i swear by mine. be sure to keep a grease gun handy, the rear does tend to squeak a bit. cant go wrong tho, it looks good and performs pretty good too. and for the 4.10, go for it, thats my next mod after my aeroforce guages

Vack75,
Are you having any clearance issues with the spider shaft and the frpp suspension drop? Also, did you measure the height of you wheel well before the drop? I have the same package, but I had it installed before I took delivery of the car so I don't know what the overall drop came to or if my springs have sagged any since the install (2 years in May).

Your car looks good by the way, a good work in progress!!
Thanks,
E

They told me the drop was about 1.5 inches, that seems about right. I had the spyder shaft on prior to the suspension kit, and there was no clearance issues, and the pinion angle was still good. I called Leonard racing before I bought this suspension pack. He assured me there would be no fitment issues, and there wasn't. He's a stand up guy and full of knowledge on the S197 suspension and drive train. Look him up for any questions you have IMO. He steered me in the right direction.

With all that said, however, I did rub the shaft at Stock height, with Aftermarket LCA's on M/T ET Streets, and the Factory UCA. One of the reasons I went with a stiffer UCA. With that much grip that I had at the track the UCA deflected and allowed the Rear to arc up too far, scraping the DS on a Rivot Weld in the DS tunnel. I have two perfect little score marks on it where it happened, and I heard it happen too, was a nice little <CRACK>. But with the MUCH MUCH stiffer UCA and the Mount, and the Adj. Panhard which is way stiffer than the OEM unit, that won't happen again. Also the shocks and springs are much better than stock as well.
