Default dspec adjustment question

this seems kind of dumb but i just want to be sure on this. the manual states to start at 4/5 turns from full hard, when they say turns, do they mean full rotations? it doesnt click or anything so its hard to tell where youre at.. i just want to be clear, 1 turn = 1 full rotation?

edit: read more. 1 turn = 360 degree full rotation.

i believe so.

as far as I know 6/7 revolutions from full hard (full hard being when turning clockwise until the adjustment screws stop) is the max soft setting - pretty much useless if you're lowered haha. If you're not careful and you go past the max soft setting, or counter-clockwise past 6/7 turns out you run the risk of blowing the shock by allowing the setting-screw to bleed to the atmosphere (or so my tokico instructions say!).

I run 3/4 turns out for daily driving, but i like it rough

on the track my fronts are usually full hard, the rears being about 2 1/2 turns out (still playing with settings though).

yeah i played with them all day yesterday and this morning. im going to leave it at 3 turns from hard front and back, and its a little rougher than stock, but the cornering is unbelievable, dpsecs+steeda sport springs+bmr panhard has been my favorite mod so far. the combination of those 3 things is the best $900 spent so far.

I run mine 6 in the front and 4 in the rear. After reading a few posts on combo this seems to work for me to control oversteer.

Correct.

There is a flat on one side of the adjuster to help you know when you have done a full turn.

BTW what type of adjuster did you guys got with your d-spec ?

Every web image I saw it was like a small bullet with a chain on it and you can unscrew the bottom to get the allen key out. Mine I got is not that small, it longer and in one piece so the allan key is always exposed.

Thanks

I got mine about a year ago and the adjuster is one piece, three inches long with a one inch allen key at one end. The handle is two inches long.

Yep, that's the one I also have.....

They have probably changed their design. It's too bad because I thought the other version was more practical.
