Default Another Wheel Hop thread...

Did some searching about the wheel hop issues. I have a 08 GT 5 speed and get BAD wheel hop while doing burnouts. Reading through the posts on here about it were somewhat confusing. Some say to get relocation brackets, some say UCA, some LCA... so what is the REAL DEAL. I plan on lowering the GT, never really race. Just want to be able to do burnouts and not shake the car to bits. don't want to drop a ton of $$ either. What do i really need???

lca,uca and relocating brakets should take the problem away.

Just start with the LCA by themselves and see what happens.

Strano has some UMI poly bushing arms that are pretty cheap and should do just fine. If I had things to do over again I probably would've bought those over my Steeda and saved myself $45.

The lower arms should fix it. you should not need the relocation brackets if you have not lowered the car. The upper mount has quite a bit of flex under high torque loads. if you still have some wheel hop after the lowers are replaced then you might try the upper also.
