Default Strut and spring install

Hey all,

I've been going back and forth on whether I want to install my front and rear springs/struts myself. But I found a couple of places quoting me $320 to install them and another $400 w/ alignment. Is that reasonable?

I think what is now holding me from doing it, is the fear of jacking up the pumpkin and causing it to leak.

Thanks

sounds pretty fair to me, shop around though. i'd ask if you can get the alignment like a week or two later, after the springs settle a little bit.

I've jacked the pumpkin at least 50 times with no leak. Just make sure the jack does not contact the differential cover. Do it yourself. Its easy and you will save cash for other mods :-)

I would recommend doing the rears yourself. This can be done with a jack and simple hand tools. The fronts are a little more involved and will require an alignment.
