Default question about lowering

so i have finally decided to lower my 06 v6, im thinking about going with H&R SS, but worried about the drop amount. Will these springs put the car's camber angle way off and could it be adjusted with one pair of camber bolts?

Any suggestions on which camber bolts i should go with?

Also when i get alignment at the shop do they adjust the bolts for you or is that your own responsibility?

do a search; there's lots of posts on those same questions.

You'd want to get a front alignment to get the camber back into spec; camber bolts usually can do that ($20-25). Camber plates are needed if you're way off, and are better, but cost a lot more.
You can run w/o the alignment for awhile, but it will be a little harder on the insides of your front tires.
And if you don't have one yet, get a rear sway bar for your v6!

If you're able to put the camber bolts in, and have a level surface, you can do the camber adjustment/alignment yourself and be well within spec. But toe needs to be checked, too.

If you only go 1 inch I wouldn't worry about it but if you go more maybe an alignment done. Go with FRPP or Eibach!!

Try to the bolts first and if you didn't lower it too much you should be good, CC plates are so expensive.

Come on in to the H&R SS family.
I have the SS's and love them, my camber was adjusted to within factory specs with one set of camber bolts. The bolts I ordered were from BMR and I believe the degree range was 2. I suggest you leave the stock bolts in and after driving you car to the alignment shop, give them the camber bolts to install and adjust.

Here is a pic of the drop...

As long as you don't drop more than 2" camber bolts should be just fine.

You might also want to take a look at a panhard bar to align your rear end after the drop, just saying....

shocks and struts at the same time as springs would make a nice ride
