Sportlines lower the car too far for serious performance use or (depending on the roads in your area) good/acceptable ride quality. A car that's lower may have the appearance of having better handling/cornering, but the relation between ride height and actual performance is not nearly as simple as the appearance suggests.

Much has been posted on the general topic of "lowering springs".

Justin - If the choices here are limited to Eibach's offerings, it'll probably come down to whether your appearance preferences or desire for functional performance is more important. Your call.

H&R's are also a quality spring, though my experience (different car) is that the drop runs a little more than advertised.

For the price..... I would go H&R. Or look into the new TEIN "S-Tech" springs for the S197. If they dont sell them, shoot me an e-mail. eric@impulsecars.com

Even Ford Racing uses TEIN on their Drift Race Car. Pretty good stuff and a killer silent player in this field.

I would imagine Ford uses Tein on their drifting car (drifting isn't racing) because they are after the tuner market, which Tein is popular with.
