SO, my plan is - 1. 3.73 GEARS & rebuild the traction lock at the same time
2. Get a data acquisition system & camera to further improve my driving.

& later on do the Ford racing cam, throttle body & delete plates .

Do yourself a HUGE favor and toss that trak-lok. You can pick up a detroit tru-trac or torsen-type for ~$400. No more friction modifier and MUCH better cornering traction.

You will come out of corners like a banshee.

Thanks for the tip,
After much research & reading , I ordered the Detroit True Track to put in with the new 3.73 gears .

Also can anyone tell me for sure what the steeda ultra light 18 x 9.5 actually weigh- cant find it on steeda site ?

According to Steeda (via email): 24.4 lbs. Not exactly 'ultralight'.

As mentioned above by a lot of smart guys on here, there are cheaper, lighter alternatives but it depends on what you are after. If you are keeping the 'stockish' brakes you can go down to a 17" wheel and save all kinds of weight, money in terms of tire pricing, and pick up a little effective gear ratio.
