Talking Sam Strano experience

Many of you know Sam from his very informative posts generated from years of great racing experience. For the first time I had the privilege to speak with Sam Strano of stranoparts.com. I am new to the handling side of mustangs as I used to drag race my previous mustang. Sam took the time not only to reply to my threads, but return my phone call and shoot-the-shiznit with me about the direction I wanted to take my car. Just a great experience. If you have any questions about what direction you want to take your car's suspension, go with Strano...

Thanks Sam!!

I bought from Sam's business almost 20 years ago on another ride I had and he did me good back then. Although I've yet to pull the trigger on my Stang's suspension, I've PM'd Sam a few times and each response was great. I will be giving him my business when I'm ready.

After speaking with Sam about suspension upgrades, I bought the Steeda Sport springs and Koni STR.T shocks/struts from him and they are now installed. I couldn't be happier with the improved ride and handling. His advice was spot-on.

Thumbs up

Sam is the best, no doubt. He'll take the time to find out what you want/expect to get from your ride, and he won't try and sell you a bunch of snit you don't need. I would pay more for my suspension parts just to get the advice that goes with the sale !

Everyones comments couldn't be any more accurate. I just purchased Steeda HD strut mounts to get rid of the stock pieces and have the adjust ability for camber, the Koni STR.Ts, and the UMI double adjustable panhard rod with roto joints. I have probably spent about 2 hours on the phone with Sam giving me excellent advice everytime. Give Sam his credit where it is due if you are looking for advice. You may save 5 dollars from somewhere else but when you know exactly what you are getting, why go somewhere else and talk to people that probably have never even driven a mustang.

For those of you wanting to improve your handling properly set up struts and shocks are the way to go. My complaint with my suspension was on curves that had uneven pavement. Whenever I was at the limit and hit bumps the rear end wanted to walk/skip out. With the new shocks the ride got better and the rear end is a million times better and stays completely planted. GET THEM IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!

I was telling some guys the other day that the one of best things I can hope for as a business owner is for customers willing to take the time to recommend me to their friends. The only think better is when folks give reasons why they like to work with me.

Some days it's like any other job.. but most of the time I really like what I do, particularly when I get to work with/help/advise folks who really care about making their stuff better.

Thank you guys for your support, I'm just tryin' to return the favor most of the time.

They aren't useless.... They aren't the best, but are far from the worst. I've been here, always have--but so many are D-spec crazy based on price (and for a while they were the only adjustable shock for the car, but that was more than 2 years ago. Hell, I even had some).

Frankly your springs are a much bigger issue than the shocks are....
