Default Need better handling HELP

I have an 2005 mustang Gt convertible,
as of right now i have a
Procharger 1SC-1 supercharger kit
3.73 rear end
and a custom tune
last time i had it dyno i put down 478 rwhp

my problem is now it doesn't handle... and instead of doing trail and error i figured i would as the pros here... i dont want just drag strip... i love mountain driving, but right now all i do is spin and i have a good bit of wheel hop...
any advice would be amazing....
Thanks again

i would start with wheels and tires, 478hp through crappy 235s doesnt sound kosher to me.

Yea i know i need to upgrade the tires... any suggestions??? I wanted to change from the 235/55 to the 255/50 cause the are the same hight and i wouldn't have to get the computer tuned again... But the only tire i've found in that size is the BFG KDWS

I'm only running 445 flywheel HP and caneasily spin my 385/40/18 BFG KDW2 high performance summer tires.

With that kind of horsepower you will either need to develop a very sensitive throttle technique or get yourself somereally good tires.

Finding wide tires with a 27 inch stock diameter is sometimes hard but they are our there.

Try a search at www.tirerack.com on 285/40/18 and select only performance summer tire types to see what you get.

You will also need wider rims for the wider rubber.

Why don't they make a 17X10 for the s197? I mean I really didn't want to go to a 18 inch just for a wider wheel... And I keep hearing to put after market upper and lower control arms... What's the advantage? Disadvantage? And won't I spin more if I lower it?
Thanks again guys I really love the advice!

you can find 17x10s, just make sure u get the correct offset ~45 offset. i know 5zigen fn01rc's come in 17x10s no problem. But on the other hand seems to me u should go 18s because with 400+ hp u probably want to stop too so big brakes should be on your agenda, in which case, 17s probably wont cut it.
