Default Need some shock advice

So I bought some springs off of a Bullitt, and while I'm changing out the springs I figure why not do the shocks and struts, right? I am looking around and I can get Tokico HP's for $300 through AM (because of gift cards), or I could spend some more and get the koni srt's for $370 through sam strano. I'd prefer to use my gift cards and get the cheaper ones, but I don't want them to be crap dampers. My car won't be much lower than stock, half an inch at the very most, so I don't need an awesome damper. Sam can you chime in? Thanks.

Better crap dampers than damp crappers.
That said, go with the STR.Ts.

Get the Konis.

Tokico HP's (aka "blues") aren't really a performance shock. Figure them to be two steps down from the D-spec adjustables in Tokico's line-up. Call it OE replacement or maybe a little better in some cars.

First off, don't bother with the Bullitt springs; they're the same as what you have now as far as rate, and will probably only lower the car around 1/4"... My '08 Bullitt was the same height as the stock GTs on the dealer's lot when I bought it, and I chose to go with some Vogtland lowering springs.
Check out something like the Steeda Sport springs for around a 1" drop. As for the dampers, the Koni orange or Bilstein would be good for the stock or slightly uprated spring rates. Koni yellows are also very good, but more $, and probably not needed for stock springs.
