Default Nitto 555s v. Invo's

What are you guys opinions on these 2 tires? Looking for a 255/50 17 tire. And these are both options.

How do you intend to use the tire?

What are your criteria for a good tire?

This link might be of help if you haven't seen it already

I'm looking for a good daily driven tire for both wet and dry conditions. I go to the 1/4 mile track maybe once a month and one of these days i'm gonna make it to an AutoX event lol

But first and foremost this is a daily driven tire.

the 555s is more for daily driving, I love them, and the tread life is exceptional, i'm gonna be on my 3rd summer with them, very happy about that

do you store your car during the winters or something?
i have daily'd nt555s on my car for about the past year and mine are pretty close to toasted. I also did one autocross event. I do however, drive pretty hard.

lol... tires don't last long on my car lol

I drive the crap out of my car and put on a lot of miles lol

I've already replaced a full set of stockers and almost ready for an other set and i've only had the car 2.5 years :-P I've also got a tad over 50k miles on my '08 :-(

I have the Invos and love them. I travel quite a ways every day to work and back. I think they have a very smooth ride...the traction is excellent.
