The "sleeve" is available as part number: 20F/5R3Z5L302A. Ground control suspension can provided suitable bumpstops for the front struts. The dust boot however is not available from Ford by itself.

Oh well, I'l just build them up as I go. I have to drive about 25 miles to an alighnment shop....think that will be a problem?
Thanks,

Little more info to add to what biznazion shared; the p/n 5R3Z5L302A sleeves are for cars with production dates 9-7-04 to 12-7-05 ($11.60 ea.)and p/n 6R3Z5L302A are for production dates 12-7-05 to 11-7-08 (9.15 ea.). I don't know if they quit using them after 08 or not...seems puzzleing that there would be different p/ns / prices and none listed for dates past 11-7-08.

Ford has funny ways sometimes...
They did change a few things around because of the TSB on the shock insulators that emitted the "clunk" sound.

I'm sure you could make an early boot work with the later shock assembly. if need to be...

Jim, thanks for resizing.

I think were all faced with the same problem of not being able to get dust boots. For bumpers I got the ford racing (M5570A) bumpers made for lower springs, and for the sleeve I don't know why you couldn't use electricians tape, it looks like it would do the same job to me. Ford is just being difficult with the boots, trying to force us into buying their ford racing struts. I also have bought the Koni Orange struts and will replace them tomorrow. I would have loved the option of building them ahead of time.
