Default LCA, UCA, PHB, OMG!

Well, here's my weekend project!

Wish me luck, I'll need it... After a beautiful week of weather, it's snowing again so I guess it's a good day to take some stuff apart.

Good luck, I just finished installing the UMI Roto Joint LCA's, PHB, and LCA relocation brackets. I haven't had time to really test them out but the rear does seam better connected. The UMI parts seam to be high quality too.

mmmmm, purdy parts at some point I'll be getting all of those parts too, I'll just be getting adjustable LCA's instead of non-adjustable ones.

have fun!

Looks good, I just put the UMI relocation brackets on my car last weekend. Feels a lot more planted now. When we were doing it we noticed that the bushings on the stock PHB are getting stiff and worn so I guess replacing that will be the next project.

Candyman - all you need is the adjustable UCA to make any pinion adjustments. It is a lot easier to adjust one point than to try to get and keep two adjustable LCA's the same. Just get the adjustable UCA and fixed LCA and you will have a much easier time and still get the pinion adjustment capability.

oh ok, makes sense. so basically you get the adjustable LCA's if you're not going to get the adjustable UCA?

looks good, only thing i would have done different is get a double adjustable PHB. The one you got you have to take off the car, add or remove turns, lock down, and put back in. The kind with a big phase nut and 2 lockers can be done on car.

Other then that looks good. What brand are those? I swear those look like Del-sphers on the end and I was also pretty sure Sphon had a pattent on them, but they should be nice.

Here's how far I got yesterday. Yeah, I'm taking my time. Hopefully today I can finish the UCA, UCA Bracket and the Panhard Bar. I tried to stay with the minimum of adjustability. Just more stuff for me to set wrong. Yes, the car is lowered with a Roush Stage 3 Suspension. The rear end stayed centered so I am just going to set the Panhard Bar to the stock length and go from there. It's all UMI stuff, and other than taking longer to ship than I expected it all seems very nice quality.
