Anyone ever use these
DBA is a well respected manufacturer of rotors. I know serveral guys who race in NASA ST1 and ST2 are using them. I have not used a set, only have heard from others that they are a quality product. No one has mentioned their "kangaroo" vane design however, which leads me to believe its no big deal or at least doesn't give any tangible differences.
I currently have DBA Series 4000 rotors w/ Hawk HPS pads. Not sure if its the rotors or the pads (probably the pads
) but the car sure stops a HELL of a lot better. The slotted rotors look good too for what its worth.
I think its general consensus that stock rotors work just as well in track applications where you're wearing them out quickly. There are several feedback responses on tire rack stating the DBA's cracked under heavy track usage but they work just fine for me in a street application.

I don't have evidence of them cracking on a Mustang, but I have a friend who developed serious hairline cracks in the DBA 4000s after one track event on his WRX. He observed about the same life from the DBA rotors as the OE rotors. (Ya, he's hard on brakes.)
I personally don't think the DBA rotors are any better than what you can get from Ford. BUT, I also believe they are *as good* as the OE rotors and this is more than I will say for just about any other rotor that you might find in the marketplace. The bottom line is, unless you absolutely have to have the slotted rotor face, just buy the Ford rotors as new take-offs.

Not exactly. Larger diameter rotors (like in the Brembo and other BBK's) have larger surface areas for better cooling and pad contact patch. But if you're sticking to stock diameter rotors you're not going to see a huge difference in performance over stock GT takeoffs. I needed new rotors anyway so went the DBA route.
