Default Shifter Comfort

Are there any shifters out there that are made for comfort? I don't race or bang gears so "close ratio" is not really looking for. I'm looking for something that shifts like a dream. Any recommendations?

I love my hurst, not sure about the whole comfort thing but I think it's great. there's another brand a lot of people use, MGW? whatever the brand is everyone with those loves them as well so that's another good option.

love my Hurst as well

but, it is slightly notchy. you have to put it into gear. it doesn't just fall into gear like the stock shifter.

Most people love the MGW shifter. it retains all the stock qualities, and you get the short throw. plus you can adjust it's up/down height and the amount of throw. I am likely to upgrade to an MGW when I put a blower on this fall. Love my Hurst, but I'm after a slightly faster shift

I hear a lot of people talking about the MGW lately and saying good things. at this point I'd have to try one out before looking into switching. it would have to be a lot better

i have the mgw and love it. you can adjust the thorw and you can adjust the height of the shifter to how ever you like it.

The MGW shifter is great, but mine transmitted more noise than I expected. It wasn't bad, and actually I became addicted to it. Still, might be a consideration for someone looking for "comfort." MGW has a new shifter, so maybe they've quieted it down.
For what its worth, I love the Roush shifter on my 427R. It bears a striking resemblance to the Hurst, is great to shift, and no noise at all.
