Default question about shocks/struts

Hey, I just bought a mustang with lowering springs, I think 2" lowering springs. The ride is real rough and u feel most bumps, I think I need aftermarket shocks/struts? Is this true, also what else would i need, what is good to get on a college budget? Any risks for running on stock shocks and struts for a couple months?

Probably not what you want to hear, but what you really need with OE shocks and struts that are at least 3 years old and have xx,xxx miles on them is springs that don't drop it as much.
