Size matters?
Hey guys, I did a search and found a few different answers. So...I kinda want to get a concensus answer here.
I was lucky enough to get a set of 20's for my car, they are off set 10's out back and 8.5's up front.
I've seen I should go with 255/35/20's up front and 285/30/20's in the back. I've also heard 275/35's are a better fit. Now I know this is really not that big a difference but could a few of you who have got 20's give me advice on what you did and why...oh and maybe a picture of what it looks like.
Thanks alot in advance.

Because of your rim sizes, some of the decision is forced on you. You are probably going to have to go with a staggered set up. For example - you should* not be putting a 275/35 on a 8 1/2" rim. Different tire manuf have different recommendations for rim widths but this is generally the case. The Nitto NT555 for example specifies a max size of 255 on the 8.5" rim. On the other hand some 255 size tires can be stretched onto a 10" rim (if you wanted to stay square) but they wouldn't be ideal. Better sizes for the 10" rims are 275 and 285.
Also be aware of the overall tire diameter - changing it is going to throw off your speedo. Norm is the expert on this stuff, he will probably give you the low down.
*Note - I say "should" because there are guys who have done it and claim it works fine. My advice would be to check with the manufaturer of the tires you want, to see what they say.
