How to tell if my mustang has had any suspension work?
Well first i'll say, the owner i bought this car from had very little knowledge of what he was selling(he bought it at an auction.), so i can't ask him.
My car rides pretty rough on rougher roads. (maybe because of the 20" with 255/35 in the front and 275/35 in the back?) Turns are corners are pretty tight, but mainly anyway to tell if their aftermarket springs or stock? Any markings i can look for on the springs etc.?
I know the info i provided isn't much help to you guys, but if anyone has any idea, help would be wonderful.

as DRock said, check for different colors of stuff underneath, for example, my Koni shocks are yellow, steeda sports are blue, but both stock pieces were black from ford.
It's definitely possible that it's just the 20's making it ride rough. When I had stock suspension I didn't notice how hard my car hit bumps until I traded my 20's for 18's.

Most aftermarket parts are clearly marked for advertising purposes.
Ford components will have a tag (sways, springs, shocks, struts, etc)
that identify them as such.
Go look under a new stang at the dealership and compare the
OEM look to your undercarrage...
Most OEM stuff is FLAT BLACK...

The 20's don't help... adding unpsrung weight never helps ride quality.
Stock shocks ride pretty poorly, and again, with more unsprung weight that gets worse. It also gets worse and worse as miles pile on stock shocks--they wear and are less and less able to damp things (and that's the underlying reason they ride poorly to start with).
As mentioned, OEM parts are flat black--and will have Ford tags on them (though they often do fall off the bars and springs being paper that gets wet, etc....). But the shocks the tags stay on.....
